Launched during the early years of the World Wide Web, it transformed how local small businesses connected with customers by offering a digital space for restaurant menus, printable online coupons, and gift certificates. Because much of that era's internet history has been lost, a collaborative digital archive called the AZeats History Project was established to preserve original documents, business records, and memories from the site's early 1990s operations.
